So in my ever-ongoing quest to teach my son creativity and imagination, I set a plan into motion. I told Tate that the first step was to file an insurance claim. So we got to work ...
Once the "claim form" was done, we folded it up and addressed the envelope to Grandma & Grandpa's insurance company.
We went for a walk and dropped it in the mailbox.
Amazingly enough, the insurance company answered RIGHT AWAY!
So we went on a quest to find a new boat. We visited Fleet Farm, Target, Walmart, Toys R Us, K-Mart and had absolutely NO luck finding a replacement boat. I also called Gander Mountain and a couple of marine stores nearby - but nothing. Then the REAL adventure began. After nap time, we headed out to Cabela's knowing that they wouldn't disappoint. And they didn't. Tate was pretty excited that the "insurance company" replaced his boat for him.
