To say that this was an exciting weekend would be a colossal understatement. As the culmination to our month-long Global Awareness Project, we once again focused our energy on the hospital in Tandala, Congo, Africa. I particularly enjoyed the "newness" of singing "You're the defender of the weak, You comfort those in need" during Everlasting God - a song that we know VERY well but which had new meaning in light of our efforts in Africa.
During Fade With Our Voices, we also showed additional footage of Africa and heard the touching story of how Jerry & Nancy Hibma were able to meet the child that they sponsor through Global Fingerprints.
And the special offering? Well ... let's just say we surpassed our goal. But in order to find out by how much, you'll need to attending weekend services on March 3/4. Believe me, You WON'T want to miss it!!!
